Tactical Telescopic vehicle mast for highly mobile operations

EXB vehicle mast is designed for vehicular operations where minimal time and manpower for deployment is available. This means Push-button, vehicle-mounted mast that allows rapid extension and operation without guy ropes. In conclusion, operation is safer, faster and requires less operators. 

EXB-masts extend to heights up to 15 m (49.2 ft.) from the platform. EXB-masts support payloads of up to 165 kg (364 lb), depending on mast performance requirements. Features of EXB-mast is achieved by carbon and glass fibre construction. EXB-masts can be equipped with various antenna adapter types and antenna positioning accessories.

Key features of EXB system:

• Minimal footprint and light structure enable integration inside and outside various vehicles and platforms. Compact mast system reduces space need in already crowded crew areas, which leads to more efficient operation.
• EXB-masts have a double-belt system. This means that first belt is used for mast extension, and the second belt is to assure proper lowering under adverse conditions of wind and slope. This technique has been proven to work under severe conditions, especially in sandy and dusty environments.
• System is operated by an electric winch power unit (WPU) and remote control. This push of a button operation means fast deployment with minimal manual input from the crew members, the system can be completely powered with most platforms own power source. Voltage options: DC 24V, AC 110–230V with power transformer.  A manual hand crank is provided as a backup for situations where electric power is not available.
• Cable management is important feature in modern vehicle mounted mast system. We design and implement custom cable solutions, like cable spirals (seen on pictures) that fulfill all needs of each communication system, whether it is antenna, radar, sensor, or other payload.
