Mastsystem int’l oy history

Since our first telescopic mast deliveries in 1984 we have been a trustworthy provider of tactical telescopic mast systems. During this over 40-year history, and over 35,000 delivered mast systems later, our products have gained global reputation and are used in over 50 countries worldwide. We supply both defence and civil customers around the world.

In 2005 we were acquired by Cobham Plc and started to operate under the name “Cobham Mast Systems”. At the beginning of 2021 our ownership changed, as we were acquired by TransDigm Inc. This marked a new chapter in our company as we returned to do business as “Mastsystem” with a new, refreshed brand.

In 2024, Mastsystem was acquired by Lagercrantz Group, a Swedish technology group listed on Nasdaq Stockholm. As part of the Lagercrantz family, we continue to operate independently under our own name while benefiting from the resources and stability of a larger group. Lagercrantz shares our commitment to long-term customer relationships and technical excellence, making this partnership a natural fit for our continued growth.
