EXL-Masts
Tactical telescopic masts for large and heavy top loads – up to 50 meters
Tactical telescopic masts are mechanical winch and belt-operated masts, designed for larger and heavier top loads. EXL-masts are made of carbon and glass fibre composite material. EXL-masts can be equipped with various antenna adapters and antenna positioning accessories.
Heavy duty EXL-masts are available in seven (7) standard configurations. Please see the table below for more specific information. Other lengths with different top loads and specifications are available at request. EXL-masts are telescopic masts for heights up to 50 (164 ft.) meters and 100kg (220 lb) top loads, depending on mast performance requirements.
If you have specific requirements, we customise our standard designs according to customer’s specifications and requirements and painted in customer specific colours.
These mast systems have seen wide usage around the globe, from arctic surrounding all the way to scorching desert environments. EXL-masts have tolerance for harsh environments: carbon fibre construction withstands sand, dust, ice, and dirt. Field antenna mast, transportable with vehicle and deployable up to heights of 50-meters with minimal crew size are great option to enhance your tactical communication capabilities.

Additional information
EXL-masts can be deployed by two (2) or three (3) persons and are elevated with a hand-cranked winch or by an optional electric winch power unit (WPU). The entire mast is rotatable by 360 degrees. EXL-mast sections open one by one and an automatic mechanical locking mechanism allows guying each lower section separately during winching up. This allows safe handling of higher top loads especially under windy conditions.
EXL-masts can be supplemented with a wide selection of mounting kits for vehicles and shelters. Sand plate kit or hard ground kit also available.
